Works to the bedrooms and corridors included stripping out all FF&E and finishes, redecoration, new carpets, curtains, headboard and selected FF&E items including lamp shades and wall graphic artwork.
Working closely with the hotel operations team and liaising with housekeeping we were able to minimise disruption of the handover of completed floors and taking the next floor by giving partial possession on completed sections of the floor.
Each floor, consisting of 75 rooms, corridors and a lift lobby, was taken in its entirety and fully refurbished in 14 days.
The first phase of works was carried out commencing 14th December with handover on 28th December, working through Christmas and New Year to ensure the programme was maintained.
